There is a HUGE helium shortage!
Helium is a finite natural resource which will deplete eventually, so it’s value naturally increases as the supply is diminished.
However the war in Ukraine has made it even harder to get hold of, with some gas providers completely running out, and others limiting how much can be purchased.
This has rapidly increased the price meaning that the cost has ‘ballooned’ over 200% in a single year!
So while the cost of inflating is inflating...
(Ok no more puns)
We’ve absorbed almost all of these costs ourselves and only passed over the smallest increase to our customers!
We are still offering all helium designs but have also been exploring ways to bring down the costs creating new airfilled designs.
